This qualification is intended for candidates who want to develop and integrate Transactional Analysis (TA) skills and theory as an integral part of their professional counselling work. It is designed to enhance the employability of counsellors in organisational settings and as independent practitioners by providing a robust grounding in TA philosophy, relational practice, and applied therapeutic skills. Transactional Analysis is a well-established and widely respected psychological approach, supporting counsellors to work effectively with clients’ internal processes and interpersonal patterns through concepts such as ego states, transactional dynamics, life scripts, and therapeutic contracting.
